The service

Diri is a coordination platform for hand-surgery operating rooms. Authenticated users — surgeons, OR coordinators, and medical- device representatives — use it to request device reps for scheduled cases, coordinate loaner trays, and exchange product questions answered by an AI assistant trained on manufacturer technique guides, instructions for use (IFUs), and public FDA 510(k) summaries. Use of the platform requires a valid account and acceptance of these Terms.

Who can use Diri

Diri is intended for licensed healthcare professionals and authorized medical-device representatives. You must be at least 18 years old. By using the platform you represent that you have the authority to act on behalf of your institution or company in the coordination workflows you initiate.

SMS terms

You may enable Diri SMS notifications through the in-app settings page or by replying START to a Diri message. By opting in, you consent to receive operational text messages from Diri related to case coordination — new device requests, rep confirmations, tray-status updates, and physician questions routed to reps.

AI-generated content

Diri uses an AI assistant (Anthropic Claude) to answer product questions, drawing from manufacturer technique guides, IFUs, and public FDA 510(k) summaries. Every AI response carries the disclaimer: “AI-generated. Consult your device representative and follow institutional protocols for all clinical decisions. This is not autonomous surgical advice.”

AI-generated content is informational only. It is not medical advice, surgical guidance, or a substitute for the judgment of a licensed clinician or the labeling provided by a device manufacturer. You agree to verify all product-specific decisions (sizing, sterilization, compatibility, MRI safety, indications) with your device representative and the manufacturer's current labeling before clinical use.

No PHI

You agree not to send Protected Health Information through the platform. Cases are referenced with synthetic identifiers (e.g., “Case #1247”). Do not enter patient names, dates of birth, medical record numbers, or other PHI in any chat, SMS, rep request, or case note.

Acceptable use

Account termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, violate applicable law, or pose a risk to other users or to the integrity of the platform. You may terminate your account at any time by emailing support@diri.health.

Disclaimer of warranties

The platform is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Diri does not warrant that messages will be delivered without delay or interruption.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Diri is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the platform, including any clinical decisions made in reliance on AI-generated content or coordination messages.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via in-app notice or email. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
